About Me
Anita Bates is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer in the Pacific Northwest. Training clients since 2006 and Certified and Instructing PiYo Group Fitness classes in Washington State in 2009. Prior to Anita’s personal training career she was a stay-at-home-mom of two children and had difficulty with her own weight-loss goals. At an unhealthy weight of 220 lbs after her second child, she was ready for a lifestyle change. Creating goals and building a consistent training program helped her to get where she is today. “As a trainer, I approach my clients program design by first understanding their lifestyle, every client is unique. Each individual will have different battles during his or her fitness journey. I can create the right program for every fitness goal. Whether you are training for a 5K or you would like to lose 10 lbs in 3 months for a special event. There is a recipe for every fitness goal, you just have to have all the right ingredients and tools."
Success Stories
Tara Stewart
Tara came to me with interest in a plan that would incorporate nutrition and strength training. Her main focus was weight-loss. She has lost over 28 lbs, 23 inches and 15% of her starting body weight over the last 6 months and continues to maintain a steady weight loss. The plan that I created for her was 3 days of weight training a week and a minimum of 30 minutes of intense cardio 5 days a week. We mixed in training days of plyometrics and kick-boxing to keep her body guessing. THE MOST IMPORTANT TIP: She maintained a clean diet. Having a clean diet is the "KEY" to having a great looking body. No matter how many burpees you do. "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!" Tara is an amazing client and continues to strive for excellence! Congratulations Tara!!
Tara is still on her fitness journey. At her last fitness assessment she asked, "So what's next!?". Tara is an amazing client and continues to strive for excellence! Congratulations Tara!!
