Success Stories
Keiko
"I used to weigh 205 pounds and I was never athletic and always overweight. In 2005, I weighed 185. A few personal trainers helped me, but I just couldn’t get last 10 pounds off to the ideal weight by myself. I made up my mind to reach the ideal weight this summer and had assessments with Jeff. Instead of 10, I lost 20 pounds! The challenge now is to maintain, but Jeff is helping me with it, too. At the age 42, I am absolutely in the best shape of my life! "
Keiko came to me on May 5, 2009 with a goal to lose 10 pounds this summer. I performed both a resting metabolic rate assessment and an exercise metabolic rate assessment for Keiko to determine how many calories she should be consuming daily and to develop her cardio training program.
As of June 27, 2009, Keiko has dropped 22 pounds and increased her Vo2 from 36.1 ml/kg/min to 46.1 ml/kg/min putting her cardio fitness level above the 90th percentile for females aged 40-49.
